Roe and Muntjack deer are only two of the species that can be found in this woodland. Twissel Wood is enhanced by the addition of a wonderful meadow with a freshwater stream with wild water cress. If you are observant you will see Kingfishers and the occasional Barn Owl.
The woodland is mature with a good variety of tree types including Poplar, Ash, Alder, Sycamore, Lime, Birch, Hazel. There are also some spectacular Oak trees running along the sides of the stream in the meadow. Good access can be gained from Intwood Lane (marked A on the plan) to the woodland (B) by car. An alternative route marked (C) gives access to the meadow. The superb location offers the beauty of a rural setting whilst providing the convenience of being within ten minutes' drive of Norwich.
The purchasers of the meadow will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.
Boundaries: The boundaries are indicated with Light Blue markings and are a field edge to the west, stakes to the north and south. Woodland edge to the east.
You are welcome to visit this meadow by yourself - please take these sales details with you, and do remember to check that it is still available. If you have seen the meadow and wish to be accompanied on a second more detailed visit please contact our local manager.
