You are here: Home > Buying a Wood > North Wales > Coed Dyffryn
Coed Dyffryn is a mixed woodland located on the slopes of the Mawddach valley and within easy reach of the north Wales coast. The woodland contains an interesting mix of tree species being mainly of large conifers planted fifty years ago but also interspersed with several mature majestic natives such as oak and birch.
Access to the woodland is from a minor road just off the A493. Double gates give access to a large parking area: from here a good wide access track leads to the woodland and then continues along the upper boundary; a second track branches off to the left and continues through the wood.
Coed Dyffryn is on the edge of the Mawddach estuary, only a few miles from the historic market town of Dolgellau and just down the road from Penmaenpool, where a surprisingly narrow wooden bridge provides easy access to the other side of the estuary. The woodland is well located being both close to the sandy beaches of the north Wales coast and within the Snowdonia National Park.
The purchasers of the woodland will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.
Boundaries: The boundaries are formed by the road, an old stone wall and one of the woodland tracks. All boundaries are marked in purple.
You are welcome to visit this wood by yourself - please take these sales details with you, and do remember to check that it is still available. If you have seen the woodland and wish to be accompanied on a second more detailed visit please contact our local manager.

Just after passing our second board, take the first left and park by the first entrance on the left with the double metal gates. From here follow the track into the wood.
