Features
Ransoms Wood is a mature mixed woodland which has some majestic, large, well grown trees. The woodland is generally sloping but with relatively easy access to all areas. From the eastern boundary the woodland has a gentle slope, with some steeper areas leading to the western boundary. The trees are well spaced giving some natural clearings which could be used for camping areas and areas to use as bases for woodland activities. Access, tracks and footpaths
Ramsons Wood has a driveable track along its top edge which allows for great access to the rest of the wood. Your wood begins at the ride stop boundary and continues downwards and to the left hand side of the track. The new owner will have a full access and a right to use. The southern boundary has uninterrupted views over open countryside.
Part way down the top edge boundary there is a cleared path leading to a secluded area where there is a natural flat clearing with a rustic bench to sit and enjoy the surroundings.
At the main gated entrance on the road there is a locked gate and plenty of space to park. From here there is a track that meanders through other woodland until you reach the ride stop and your own wood. Full access to drive down to this ride stop and beyond will be granted on purchase of your wood.
