Privacy Policy
Who we are
Our website address is: https://www.woodlands.co.uk. Privacy and security of personal information is extremely important to us and we have strong policies to protect data.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Mailing lists
We only collect the minimum information that we need. This data is in two categories:
- email addresses of people who want to hear about new woodlands for sale
- email addresses, phone numbers and addresses of people who have bought land from us
For our mailing list, people are only put on it when they explicitly request to be on the list. They can be deleted from that list at any time and we will delete the data from our database. We never sell or share that data. Anyone can request their data be deleted by mailing [email protected]
For past buyers we only use their data to communicate essential information relating to shared rights of way and related matters. We only share data with permission and then only in order to put neighbours in contact with each other.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
