Notice he keeps referring them as pests ? Thought they were a invasive species? If so why can you buy feeders for these tree rats and some parks I here sell food to feed them shouldn't that be illegal as they are a invasive species? Bring bk the grey hunting clubs I say

The Grey Squirrel has devastated the Native Grey Squirrel in Ireland. I believe they hail from North America. They dominated the Red Squirrel because they are larger ferocious eaters spending more time on the Ground than the Red Squirrel, hence they took most of the Winter Food.Last week a report released stated that the Red Squirrel is making a Comeback thanks to the re introduction of the Native Pine Martin that hunts the Grey Squirrel. Grey Squirrel numbers are dropping as a result.

1. Use WD-40 to protect you…
To keep squirrels from taking over, spray a generous amount of WD-40 everywhere they travel. The pesky squirrels will fall off everything.

I just killed one with the air rifle this morning. I don't enjoy killing, however these squirrels do lots of damage and the population has to be controlled. They even come on to your porch, break flower pots and tear the stuffing out of outdoor furniture cushions to line their nest. They are a blight on the west coast of the USA, as are raccoon's and skunks.

@STHFGDBY The pine martin is saving the red squirrel? Nature really does form complex wholes. When the pieces are in place, it stays healthy.
