http://www.woodlands.co.uk/ How to gut a squirrel. Gutting a squirrel by Sean Collins. Firstly Sean pinches the skin on the belly of the squirrel to make an incision. He then cuts back towards the reproductive organs and removes the testicles . Sean also discusses how to examine the internal organs for signs of disease or ill health in the animal. After checking the liver and kidneys he removes the digestive tract, followed by the heart and lungs, and removal of the head. Finally he discusses hyqiene prior to cooking.

could you make other videos like that? With other small game that even me could hunt 🙂
Dull knife 🙂 You'd better have it sharp to do what you expect it to do, instead of having it dull and having to pull and have a random rip or slash that would spoil the organs/cut you.
after the rinse if you soak the carcass in a saline or brine solution it will soak the 'gamey'ness out of the meats and organs. a tablespoon of salt in a liter of water is enough.
thank you. ordinarily i could have done without seeing that , but the way the world is going it could be very important to know. once my stomach stops flipping i can go to bed and lay awake night after night hoping to God i never have to do that. lol.
Great knowledge. But why the dull knife?
a sharper knife would help…lol
your basically tainting the meat with shit from the intestines.
i wish he had a proper chopping board lol think it would have been a lot easier!
he was helping demonstrate that bark can safely be used as a decent cutting board as it was wood. i agree that the shape may not be ideal, but neither is having wall mart exploit slaves over seas to make us all cutting boards.
how was the squirrel dispatched?
