Building Classic Oak Barns
By woodlandstv
Slow connection? Watch in lower quality
Here we see Andrew and some of his Classic Barn Company team - project manager Ben and craftsman Witold - as they share their passion for producing beautiful oak-framed garages. They are Accredited to The Guild of Master Craftsmen and the buildings they create reflect their care and attention to detail. Their pride in their work is obvious - from conception through to completion - as is their love of this traditional, reliable timber. http://www.classicbarns.co.uk An Adliberate film http://www.adliberate.co.uk for WoodlandsTV http://www.woodlands.co.uk/tv

Fantastic, where do you get your oak?
Hmm. You let yourself down this time! This is just an advert for the company.
Not intrested in programmes like these.
Every time I hear the English speak about how wonderful a certain aspect of building or craft is I always get the impression that they are full of it. It sounds over the top for the specific task, item, or process. An example would be how one particular step in the building process has some deep philosophical meaning to life and humanities well being. please… >.>
boxed heart for a top plate… that's going to have problems… other than that, it looks good!
So your now an advertising channel for company's that employ foreign workers to build barns !
+jwrappuhn71 Thank you, we source our oak from various locations depending upon prices, its a changing picture that enable us to pass the best value down the line to the customer.
+Neanderthal 62 Hello – We have several frame erectors from the UK and Europe, this particular team happened to be on that particular job. Our focus when employing carpenters is on their capability, not their nationality. Everyone is considered, if your a carpenter feel free to get in touch.
+Michael Flynn Thats very kind, thank you.
We were very pleased that the WoodLands TV channel took an interest in our craft and very pleased they took time out to come and film us in action – thank you.
Beautifully made
