Slow connection? Watch in lower quality
Experienced furniture designer and maker Andrew Marsh talks us through the making of a beautiful bespoke wooden cabinet. Andrew adopts traditional furniture making techniques within his work, explaining these terms to us. His love of wood and his passion for his craft is evident, as is his understanding of the various timbers he uses - for different purposes - both aesthetic and practical. http://andrewmaker.com/ An Adliberate film http://www.adliberate.co.uk for WoodlandsTV http://www.woodlands.co.uk/tv

Snide work. You can really see the effort and craftsmanship.
Beautiful clean work. You're the real deal!
Edit: I literally can't find a single thing to nitpick here. Outstanding work! You're an artist.
thanks for video
could you please send the dimensions of this ?
Depends on where you live, some places have more demand, mainly areas where rich people have fast access to. But you can make enough to eat if your good. You don't become a woodworker to become rich and only like 0.01% of woodworkers actually gets into three figure income. i'd say 90% are lower middle class. Also depends on what kind of woodwork you are doing, i hear boat builder do quite well, Furniture and Instruments are about average when it comes to woodwork, though instruments have a higher potential income, the average is the same as furniture. Woodturners also do Ok, in between boat builders and furniture makers if they are doing it for the money, but most of them are just retired guys turning as a hobby. Furniture restoration makes a lot of money if you are in the right place at the right time, but it is unstable in most cases.
anarchists toolchest :o)
I'm 16 about to work experience in a cabinet making company, does anyone know if this is hard or just a simple job (doing this to become a carpenter)
You will soon find out, everyone is different, woodwork has not been too challenging for me but it sure has it's moments.
It wouldn't be enjoyable for long if it were easy.
Hope you enjoy it mate!

What a beautiful video – informative and entertaining in equal measure. Andrew's skills are second to none, and how incredibly generous of him to share so much information.
The process was as stunning and the end product.
