This is good for all of you. The exercise, the virtue of old methods and it gives Freddy a good life. The return to horse logging is not new to the USA. From our Midwest to western and northwestern forests you will find occasional horse operations. Some of them involve much bigger logs.
Next we would care to see how the trees cut out are chosen.
I'd be fascinated to know if more or less limbs were lost as well as being more ecological. Does a log have a greater chance of rolling, pinching, and crushing your leg with a horse attached to it, or less? Not a large enough sample size to make any conclusions?
