If you’ve ever wondered what goes into the planning and planting of a woodland, David and Allan are sure to have the answer for you.

Foresters for their entire careers, they work closely together to plant and manage woodlands. Picking the species of trees to plant and knowing what type of land you’re planting on is only part of the planning process. Young saplings often need several years of care to protect them from threats like deer or rabbits eating them - or even other forest floor plants competing for light - and it’s important to ensure that ties and guards placed around them to help them grow are removed at the right time.
