In this film by accomplished film maker Philip Mearns, we meet Wendy in her 30 acre ancient woodland on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Like may small woodlands owners, Wendy finds her woodland suffers from flooding that causes damage not only on her land but further downstream as well. Wendy has decided to use traditional leaky damns as a form of Natural Flood Management (NFM) to slowdown and control rather than prevent the waterflow.
