Glad you like our films but sorry you were disappointed with this one. Robin did describe the traditional trugs, but we didn't have pictures to support it. The film was long so we decided to concentrate on the construction process which was more visual. They only demonstrated making othe modern trugs that day . To balance things we put a description of the traditional trugs made of chestnut and willow in the notes.
Anyway thanks for your comment -and thanks for watching
£36!
why call it traditional when it is nothing of the sort. You might be able to pull the wool over most peoples eyes but this is unnecessarily beautified with all sorts of girlie bling, it reminds me of the German and Dutch word 'betrug'……..to cheat!
Just gorgeous.
Just gorgeous, I would have many uses for them!
Nice Shorts Robin!
Parabéns !…
very popular among homosexuals.
Trugs are still made using Chestnut for the frames and handles. The boards are made from willow
The use of plywood seems rather a shame when the natural materials are available
I'm a bit surprised at Woodlands TV for making this video as most of their videos show real traditional crafts using natural materials not ply
