Slow connection? Watch in lower quality
Here, Nick Coates shows us an innovative way to work with a wide range of coppiced wood - to produce high-performance bicycles. With his considerable engineering experience and keen interest in working with sustainable materials, Nick has designed a unique and naturally beautiful product as a social enterprise. Pyrography artwork, by Nick`s daugher Emma, is an eye-catching addition to the bike poles. As others have already said, WOW! Amazing, impresive, great work.
These are totaly works of true craftmanship. Makes me want to quit my job as a stone mason and come work for you, for free.
Apart from stone masonry I have been multi media sculpting for thirty years and it's not often i see something that makes me feel that which i feel when i'm sculpting. Thank you,
Maaka.
You are quite right there Dan. In the longer term we would like to have a network of branches in the USA making bikes there from the local wood species which grow there. Local structural needs solved with local material worked by local people.
