In this film by Cameron Wright, we meet Dr Vicky West, Senior Development Manager at Scottish Forestry, to learn about changes to the Woodland Carbon Code to make it easier for small landowners (for areas of land between 1 and 5 hectares).

Dr West takes us through changes to the validation and verification processes to make it more streamlined, simpler and more cost effective. She explains how community groups can get support, and how grouping projects together between landowners can further reduce costs. She also explains how rewilding and natural regeneration projects can be part of the scheme.
