Looking for 10 or more Acres of woodland with or without buildings for a license to use for Airsoft. Please do not think this is paintball. We are a very professional company with 3 sites in the area and looking to expand. We use mainly electric operated weapons that fire non lethal plastic BB’s. They will generally mark cardboard or wood like chip board with a small dent but have no effect on hard surfaces like concrete and will not break glass unless already broken. The BB’s come in two types, bio degradable and standard, the bio BB’s generally breakdown in 5 days to 5 weeks and the standard BB’s from 15 weeks to 60 months. This does not affect tree's at all and they happily grow in already busy woodland airsoft sites. The BB’s are also non toxic and will break down with no harm to wildlife. The Knighton Tree Allotments Trust has been registered as a Company Limited by Guarantee. It is a not-for-profit Trust that will create woodland allotments for local people living in and around Knighton to provide for their present day needs of fuel, fruit, nuts and timber as well as maintaining a sustainable and healthy ecosystem that will ensure a viable forest for future generations to enjoy. The Trust will buy or lease land within 5 miles of Knighton and provide the training and support needed to enable local people to manage their tree allotments in a safe, productive and sustainable manner. These people will thus be able to grow for themselves some of their fuel and food needs as well as reducing their carbon footprints. We are a junior schoool in Crawley (RH10 7EB). We are currently looking for woodland to run our Forest schools sessions. During these sessions, we would help manage the woodland through coppicing and the children would gain a greater respect for wildlife. Due to transport costs, we ideally would like some land very near the school (approximately a 10 minute drive). We have many staff who have completed the Forest School training and are experienced in running outdoor activities. We would be thrilled if anyone would be willing to help us run this project.
